Peter Simon Mühlhäußer was born October 18th, 1982.
He currently lives and works in South Germany. (Stuttgart)

During 2004-07 the Artist studied at the professional school, “Johannes Steinhäuser” which resides in Lasa, South Tirol in Italy. He earned degrees for both Stonemason and Stonecarver for his practice in the well-respected material, lasa-marble.

In 2009 Mühlhäußer received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art. He earned significant awards and graduated with the honor of Cum Laude. The awards included the 2009/10 Fellowship Award at the New York Academy of Art. Mühlhäußer lived and worked from 2007 until 2013 in Brooklyn, New York. He resided in Berlin from 2013 - 2015.

Mühlhäußer also was an adjunct professor for sculpture from 2011 - 2013 at the Lyme Academy of Fine Art.

Mühlhäußer has been exhibiting internationally and has work in numerous collections world wide. In 2013 he was part of the show, “Personal Structures” at Palazzo Bembo as an offical part of the 55th Biennale di Venezia 2013.
